What you’ll be doing

The Senior Solution Architect is responsible for leading the design and implementation of advanced healthcare information systems, ensuring that they align with strategic objectives. This role involves integrating specific technologies such as Electronic Health Records (EHR), cloud computing solutions, data analytics platforms, and IoT devices within the healthcare environment. The architect ensures these systems are efficient, secure, and patient-centered, enhancing the delivery of clinical care and operational services across the network. This position plays a crucial role in driving technological innovation and maintaining system interoperability to support comprehensive, integrated health services.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience.
  • Strong leadership qualities with a proven track record of successfully driving large-scale IT initiatives. Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and influencing senior management to adopt innovative IT solutions
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated capability in negotiating and influencing outcomes across various levels of an organization
  • Extensive knowledge of healthcare IT regulations, standards, and practices, including HIPAA, GDPR, HL7, FHIR, and DICOM. Experience ensuring IT systems and processes comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet all milestones, budgets, and performance specifications. Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile and PRINCE2.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to the rapidly changing technology landscape.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to assess complex systems, identify issues, and develop effective solutions. Strong problem-solving skills with a record of innovative solutions to operational challenges
  • Up-to-date with the latest developments in IT technologies and healthcare trends. Hands-on experience with IoT, artificial intelligence, blockchain, and other emerging technologies that can enhance healthcare delivery
